Die! Die! Die!
is a punk three-piece from New Zealand formed in late 2003. Their music has been described as being abrasive, noisy and rough with a strong emphasis on the rhythm section within the band. The band are renowned for incessantly touring internationally since they began, focusing their efforts in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and USA (especially New York), and brief travels through Europe. The band's live shows have become infamous for their energy and front man Andrew Wilson's tendency to use the entire venue, climbing and writhing around the audience, with microphone in hand.
Die! Die! Die! On Tour! Tour! Tour!
Hard touring New Zealand punk trio Die! Die! Die! is on the road in the U.S. and Canada in support of its sophomore effort, Promises, Promises. The band kicked off its journey with a pair of shows March 7-8 at Echo in Los Angeles and wraps things up March 30 at New York's Highline Ballroom. After that, they'll head to Austin for five showcase appearances March 12-15 at the South By Southwest Music and Media Conference. Other stops on Die! Die! Die!'s headlining run include The Cavern in Dallas (March 17), Taste in Orlando, Fla. (March 20), The EARL in Atlanta (March 24) and North Star Bar in Philadelphia (March 26).
